During the second quarter of 2022, the top five navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Kenya exhibited a range of performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue metrics.

GPS Navigation Live Earth Map saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 169 in late March and peaking at 22.6K in late May. The app also experienced a growth in weekly active users, rising from 240 users at the beginning of the quarter to 16.9K in mid-June.

GPS Navigation & Map Direction maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout Q2 2022, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 3.5K and 5.3K. Active users for this app remained consistent, ranging from 21.5K to 22.4K across the quarter.

GPS Navigation Globe Map 3D had a steady pattern in weekly downloads, which ranged from 2.8K to 6.6K. Active users showed a slight decline from 5.1K at the end of March to 3.6K by the end of June. The app generated minimal revenue, peaking at just $7 in early May.
